·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 30/04/2011 at 1820 hrs at near C.V. Nayak Hall Buntshostel Mangalore one driver of Pickup bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MA-2288 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Maruthi Alto car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MP-4444. As a result one Asha D’silva (31) driver of said Alto car sustained simple injuries.   

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 30/04/2011 at 0830 hrs at Karambar Town Malavoor village Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AB-5922 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-7944. As a result pillion rider of said motorcycle one Jehnab (04) R/o Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries.  

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 30/04/2011 at 1430 hrs near Nanthur junction Mangalore one rider of motor cycle bearing Reg. No. KA-05-EK-6879 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Scorpio car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-5623. As a result motorcycle rider one Umesh and pillion rider Vikas sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 29/04/2011 at 1630 hrs at Kakkebettu Alape village accused Sunil criminally restrained one Leo Crasta R/o Alape village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Grievous Hurt has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 29/04/2011 at 1900 hrs at Beluvayi village Mangalore Taluk accused one Roshan D’Souza assaulted one Paul Lobo (63) R/o Beluvayi village Mangalore Taluk with iron rod.

·        A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered in Women Police Station. On 30/04/2011 at 1800 hrs on credible information Ravindra Gadadi Asst. Commissioner of Police along with WPI and staff conducted raid on Hindusthan Lodge at Mangalore and arrested Kishore, Ashok, Sanjana and Anuradha who were soliciting for prostitution there.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Urwa Police Station. In between 2200 hrs of 29/04/2011 and 0530 hrs of 30/04/2011 one Noyal Payas (60) committed suicide by hanging in his house at Kottara cross Kottara Mangalore owing to health problem.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. One Govinda Prabhu (78) R/o Bhuvanendra Apartment near C.V. Nayak Hall consumed poison on 30-04-2011 at 1100 hrs in his house owing to health problem. Further he was admitted to KMC hospital Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatment.
