• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 13/05/2011 at 1600 hrs at Chembugudde Permannur village Mangalore Taluk one Henry D Souza driver of a Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6648 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-1217. As a result Viviyan Johnson D Souza R/o Permannur village Mangalore Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case under SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 13/05/2011 at 1300 hrs in the KSRTC bus stand office at Bejai Mangalore accused one Renuka Office Assistant Traffic section KSRTC Bejai Mangalore abused one Mahanthavva (22) Technical Assistant KSRTC bus stand Bejai Mangalore in filthy language referring to her caste owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered in Woman Police Station. On 14/05/2011 at 1130 hrs WPI Women PS on rounds arrested one Veena (40) W/o Narayana R/o Udupi District who was soliciting for prostitution at public place near old bus stand at Mangalore.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 1530 hrs and 1600 hrs of 14/05/2011 one Soorpthi Mithranatha (18) R/o Room No-04, C Block Ladygoshan Quarters Mangalore committed suicide by hanging in her house owing to personal problem.
