·        A case under MV theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 21/05/2011 and 22/05/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No.KA-19-W-1361 worth Rs. 23,000/ belonging to one Dombayya R/o Arala village Bantwal Taluk which was parked near Prestige Mahal Pandeshwar Mangalore.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 23/05/2011 at 1005 hrs near Industrial Area Bykampady Mangalore one Shekhar driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-5857 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-W-1167. As a result one Mohammad Sohail (17) R/o Kapu Udupi pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained greviuos injuries where he succumunded to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 23/05/2011 at 1030 hrs at Masthikatte Ullal Mangalore one driver of autorikshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-6438 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Bhagirathi who was travelling in the said autorikshaw and caused her simple injuries.
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 23/05/2011 at 2130 hrs near Kotekar village Mangalore Taluk one driver of new Maruthi Swift car drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-G-378. As a result one Gangadhar rider and Sudhakar pillion rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-G-378 sustained grevious injuries.

·        A case under Rioting, Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 22/05/2011 at 2200 hrs accused Murali, Kumar, Girish, Raja, Krishna, Guru, Prasad, Mohini and Shivaraj @ Annu forming into unlawful assembly near Dominic Church Derebail Mangalore and abused one Manjunath R/o Dominic Church Derebail Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by wooden stick and also gave life threat owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 0800 hrs of 21/05/2011 and 0930 hrs of 23/05/2011 one Ranganath Asst. Commissioner Commercial Tax committed suicide by hanging at Room No. 322 Ganesh Mahal Lodge Mangalore owing to personal problem.
