·        A case of Servant Theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. In between 05/05/2011 at 0800 one Mamtha (25) R/o Shimoga District who was working a housemaid in the house belonging to one M Madhavaraya Pai (53) R/o Kodialbailgutthu Mangalore committed theft of Gold and Diamond ornaments from the Almera of the same house. The total worth of stolen property is Rs. 4, 50,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 05/05/2011 at 1200 hrs at Mallikatta bus stop Mangalore one S.K Ahamed (80) R/o Krishnapura Mangalore while getting in to the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-5539, driver of said bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries..

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 03/05/2011 at 2115 hrs at Baikampady Mangalore one unknown driver of unknown vehicle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one John Sequera (37) R/o Kinnigoli Mangalore a pedestraina and caused him serious injuries. The unknown vehicle driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 04/05/2011 at 1700 hrs on NH 17 in front of NITK guest house Mangalore one Sampath driver of Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MA-1923 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-7312 driven by one Prof. H.N.Y Shasthry (65) R/o Surathkal Mangalroe. As a result both the vehicle got damaged. No causalities reported.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 05/05/2011 at 18100 hrs at Nishmitha circle Moodabidre Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-03-AD7989 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Vasantha Poojari (31) R/o Sangabettu village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Urwa Police Station. One Sudarshan Karkera (42) R/o Daddalkadu Mangalore consumed poison on 26/04/2011 at 2330 hrs in his house owing personal problem. Further he was admitted to Fr. Muller hospital Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatment on the 05/05/2011 at 1700 hrs.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 05/05/2011 at 1245 hrs one Asmath (20) R/o Taneerubhavi Mangalore committed suicide by hanging in her house owing to health problem.
