ದಿನಾಂಕ  16-10-09  ರಂದು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಪಾಂಡೇಶ್ವರ ಠಾಣಾ ಸರಹದ್ದಿನ ಮಂಗಳೂರು  ಸರ್ವಿಸ್ ಬಸ್ಸು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಣಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ತನ್ನ ಸಹ ಕ್ಲೀನರ್ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಭಟ್ ಎಂಬಾತನನ್ನು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ರಾಡ್ನಿಂದ ತಲೆಗೆ ಹೊಡೆದು ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಆರೋಪಿ ಚಂದ್ರ @ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ(30) ತಂದೆ: ದಿ ರಾಮಪ್ಪ ಬೆಳ್ಚಡ, ವಾಸ: ದರ್ಕಾಸ್ತು ಮನೆ, ಇರಾ ಶಾಲೆ ಬಳಿ, ಇರಾ ಗ್ರಾಮ, ಬಂಟ್ವಾಳ ತಾಲೂಕು ಎಂಬಾತನಿಗೆ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ತ್ವರಿತ ಗತಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ಮಾನ್ಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧೀಶರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ನಿಂಗೇಗೌಡ ಜಂತ್ಲಿ ರವರು ಆರೋಪಿತನ ವಿರುದ್ದ ಆರೋಪ ಸಾಬೀತಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ತೆರೆದ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ 03-01-11 ರಂದು ಆರೋಪಿತನಿಗೆ 5 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಠಿಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು  ವಿಧಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ದಿನಾಂಕ 09-12-09 ರಂದು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಪಾಂಡೇಶ್ವರ ಠಾಣಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ನೆಹರು ಮೈದಾನದ ಬಳಿ ಹಣಕೋಸ್ಕರ ರಾಜಸ್ಥಾನ ಮೂಲದ ಕರಣ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಎಂಬಾತನನ್ನು ಚೂರಿಯಿಂದ ತಿವಿದು ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಆರೋಪಿತನಾದ ಮಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಫೈಝಾಲ್(19), ತಂದೆ:ಅಬುಬಕ್ಕರ್, ವಾಸ: ಪುದು ಗ್ರಾಮ, ಬಂಟ್ವಾಳ ತಾಲೂಕು ಈತನಿಗೆ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ 1ನೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಸತ್ರ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ಮಾನ್ಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಧೀಶರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಂಚೆಟೆ ಸಂಜೀವ ಕುಮಾರ್  ರವರು ಕಲಂ 302 ಐಪಿಸಿ ಯಂತೆ ಆರೋಪ ಸಾಬೀತಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ 31-01-11 ರಂದು ತೆರೆದ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವಾವಧಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಮತ್ತು ರೂ 1,000/- ದಂಡ ವಿಧಿಸಿದ್ದು, ದಂಡ ತೆರಲು ತಪ್ಪಿದಲ್ಲಿ 6 ತಿಂಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಸಜೆ ವಿಧಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಪಾಂಡೇಶ್ವರ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ದೋಷಾರೋಪಣಾ ಪತ್ರ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರಾಸಿಕ್ಯೂಶನ್ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಅಭಿಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಬಟ್ಪಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ವೆಂಕಟರಮಣ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ರವರು ವಾದ ಮಂಡಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

Gambling Raid: 03 Arrested, Rs 2,150/. Seized

On 30/01/2011 at 2030 hrs a police team consisting of CPI Mangalore Rural PS along with staff on specific information conducted raid at Adamkudru Permannur village Mangalore Taluk. At the time of raid Police found 05 persons playing “Ander - Bahar” with cards. Police seized cash Rs. 2,150/ and playing cards from the spot by arresting Suresh Ferao (35), Ummar Farooq (37) and Jeevan Kutino  who were indulging in gambling. However accused Pious D Souza and Samsheer managed to escape from the scene.

In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Ullal PS U/s 78, 80 of the Karnataka Police Act.

On 29/01/2011 at 1645 hrs in front Mona Hotel at Bejai Mangalore one rider of a New Bajaj motorcycle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-8386. As a result both motorcycle riders sustained grievous injuries.  

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 28/01/2011 at 1900 hrs on U.P Mallya road at Mangalore one driver of tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-3412 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Nagesh (33) a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 30/01/2011 at 1730 hrs near Empire Mahal at Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. As a result Yeldos Kuriyan (48) R/o Valencia Mangalore and Sosamma Varges pillion rider of said scooter sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station.  On 26/01/2011 at 2005 hrs in front of Fire Service office at Kuntikana Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-4544 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-1119. As a result both motorcycle riders and pillion riders of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
