·        A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives, Marrying again during lifetime along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Women Police Station on the complaint of one Savitha Raskhina (38) R/o Urwa church compound Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Wincent Desa (husband) and another wife Shanthi Fernandis, gave physical and mental harassment to Savitha Raskhina and they also gave life threat to her owing to family dispute.

accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 19/05/2011 at 1815 hrs at Kodialguthu busstand Mangalore one Narayana Rai (68) R/o Kodialguthu Mangalore a passenger of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-2095 while getting into the bus, one Francis the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down in the bus and sustained simple injuries.

·       A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered in Mangalore Urwa Police Station. On 20/05/2011 at 1500 hrs on credible information Ravindra Gadadi Asst. Commissioner of Police along with PSI Urwa PS and staff conducted raid on Nandini Lodge at Mangalore and arrested Anil Chettiyar (25), Mary  Rauthi @ Christina (25) and Suma @ Chennamma (28) who were soliciting for prostitution there and seized 03 mobile phones and cash Rs. 19,750.
