·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Urwa Police Station. In between1600 hrs of 20/05/2011 and 2320 hrs of 22/05/2011 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Kumar Shenoy (39) R/o Flat No. 92 His Grace Apartment Hat Hill Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments all in worth Rs. 5,00,000/.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 22/05/2011 at 1100 hrs near Kavoor Temple Mangalore one Pavan rider of new Motorcycle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle dashed against an electric pole. As a result one Pavan (17) R/o Devasya Kavoor Mangalore rider of said motorcycle sustained greviuos injuries. Further he was succumbed to his injuries found dead on the way to hospital.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 22/05/2011 at 1030 hrs at Poopadikatte Nadugodu village Mangalore Taluk one rider of motocycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EC-5021 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Nokku pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 21/05/2011 at 0910 hrs near Surthkal Town one Mohith rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-8822 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-1640. As a result one Ganesh Kumar rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-1640 sustained grevious injuries.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 22/05/2011 at 2200 hrs accused Dinesh and Sarosh criminally restrained one Nithin Shenoy (23) R/o Bikarnakatte Mangalore and abused him in filthy language near Bikarnakatte Mangalore and assaulted him by hand and stone owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 1500 hrs and 1610 hrs of 22/05/2011 one Gopalkrishna Nayar (57) accidentally fell down at his house at Katipalla Kaikamba and Further he was admitted to Padmavathi Hospital Surathkal where he declared dead while under treatment on 22/05/2011 at 1715 hrs.
