·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. In between 1200 hrs and 1800 hrs of 09/05/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Hero Honda motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-2011 belonging to one Anil Kumar (27) R/o Navoor Gandhi Nagara Mangalore that was parked in the parking place of Guru Plaza building at Mangalore. The Hero Honda motorcycle is worth Rs. 20,000/.

Fatal: 02

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 11/05/2011 at 1030 hrs on NH-17 at Sankolige Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tanker Gas lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-01-D-4477 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against pedestrians Bifathumma (55) and Umarabba (65) and caused them serious injuries. Further they were admitted to Nethaji Yellappa hospital at Thokkuttu Mangalore where in Umarabba (65) was  declared dead while under treatment on the same day at 1210 hrs.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 11/05/2011 at 1635 hrs on Edga- Katla road at 7^th block Krishnapur Mangalore one driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8583 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Shabeer a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 10/05/2011 at 2100 hrs at Thokkottu Permannur village Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6955 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Shivaprasad a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
•  A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 10/05/2011 at 1400 hrs near Polali Dwara at Kaikamba Thenkulipady village Mangalore Taluk one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-7829 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Abdhul Khadar R/o Akasha Bhavana Mangalore a pedestrian caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 11/05/2011 at 1000 hrs one Sandeep (22) R/o Angadimaru Jappina Mogeru Mangalore committed suicide by hanging at his house owing to personal problem.

Missing Persons: 01

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Alwin Bangera (25) R/o Jeppu Mangalore went to work at Balmatta Mangalore on 07/05/2011 at 0900 hrs and did not return his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
