·        A case under Cruelty by Husband has been registered in Ullal Police Station on the complaint of Jayashree (24) w/o Prasad Jain R/o Mudigere Kalasa Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Prasad Jain (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to one Jayashree to bring more dowry and also gave life threat to her.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 29/05/2011 at 0800 hrs near KS Hegde Hospital at Kotekar village Mangalore Taluk one Abdul Salam rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-0743 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due to which motorcycle capsized. As a result one Mohammed R/o Sajipa Nadu Bantwal Taluk pillion rider of said motocycle sustained grievous injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. In between 1145 hrs and 1300 hrs of 29/05/2011 one Ronald Anthony Miranda (48) R/o Marakada village Mangalore Taluk accidentally slipped into the Palguni River while walking near river side and died due to drowning.
