· A case under Murder has been registered in Barke Police Station. On interviewing night of 16-17/05/2011 some unknown culprits murdered one unknown male person aged about 20-24 years near Inland Enclave Apartment at Mannagudda Mangalore.

· A case under Rioting, Criminal restraint and Intentional insult along with Hurt has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 17/05/2011 at 0800 hrs accused Lokesh, Ganesh, Santhosh, Anil, Sathish munchur and others forming into unlawful assembly near Munchur cross Surathkal village Mangalore Taluk and stopped the car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-9215 and abused the driver of said car one Bhagavan (30) R/o Katipalla Surathkal Mangalore Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him by wooden stick and also gave him life threat owing to previous enmity.

Unnatural Death Report: 02
· A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 17/05/2011 at 1315 hrs one unknown dead body aged about 45-50 years was found near VA office Surathkal Town Mangalore Taluk. It seems to be a case of heart attack.
· A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Konaje Police Station. In between 1400 hrs and 1500 hrs of 17/05/2011 one Sukumar (32) R/o Belma village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to personal problem.
