·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 1315 hrs and 1415 hrs of 08/05/2011some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-8893 belonging to one Vittal Bangera B. (43) R/o Kotekaru Someshewara village Mangalore that was parked in the premises of Gatti Samaja Bhavan Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 30,000/.

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 13/05/2011 at 0030 hrs on NH 17 at Kuloor Bridge Mangalore one Mayank Rasthogi driver of new Yamaha motorcycle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Mayank Rasthogi and pillion rider Roopesh Goyal sustained serious injuries. Further they admitted toA.J hospital Mangalore. Where in Roopesh Goyal succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on same day at 0130 hrs.
• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station where in one Prasanna (40) R/o KHB colony Bondel Mangalore declared dead while under treatment on 12/05/2011 at 1745 hrs. The said Prasanna was seriously injured by a Kinetick Nova in a road traffic accident on 20/04/2011 at 0900 hrs at Bondel Mangalore and admitted to the Wenlock Hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has already been registered in Kavoor Police Station.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 13/05/2011 at 0830 hrs near Mahakalipadpu Mangalore one Vasantha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-9414 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and suddenly applied break due which the motorcycle capsized. As a result Hemanth Kumar S.P (23) R/o Shanivarasanthe Kodagu district pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 13/05/2011 at 1515 hrs in front of Mangalore south Police Station one driver of Pick-Up Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-5965 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MB-1551 from behind driven by one Ashok Kumar B. (33) R/o Jeppu Market Mangalore. As a result both the vehicle got damaged. No causalities reported. The driver of pickup vehicle escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 13/05/2011 at 1340 hrs at Kumarnagala cross K.C road Kotekaru village Mangalore one Shameer driver of a new Wolkswagen car drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-244 due which the auto rickshaw driver lost control over his vehicle and the vehicle capsized. As a result Muttanna Shetty (62) R/o Talapady village Mangalore and Shashikal who were travelling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 11/05/2011 at 2000 hrs near Kulshekar Mangalore one Henry driver of Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9495 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-1217. As a result Ashith (21) R/o Mulihithlu Mangalore rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 13/05/2011 at 1930 hrs at Padil cross Alape village Mangalore accused Srinivasa @ Ganesh (26) assaulted one Abdul Azeez (37) R/o Bajal Mangalore with stone and also gave life threat to him owing to previous enmity.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 05/05/2011 at 0730 hrs one Hemanth (23) R/o PWD quarters Urwastores Mangalore accidentally consumed poison in his house. Further he was admitted to city hospital Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on 13/05/2011 at 0930 hrs.
