·        A case of Theft has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 20/05/2011 at 2130 hrs some unknown culprits came in to the house and committed a theft of four cows belonging to one Santhosh (32) R/o Todaru village Mangalore Taluk. The worth of the stolen property is Rs. 24,000/.

Motor Vehicle Theft: 01

·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. In between 1500 hrs of 11/05/2011 and 1100 hrs of 12/05/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-1939 belonging to one Manjunath Naik R/o 4^th Mail Kavoor Mangalore that was parked near his house. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 25,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 21/05/2011 at 1715 hrs near Haleyangady junction at Haleyangady Mangalore Taluk one driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-01-B-6365 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against two Chandrashekhar and Seetharam pedestrians and caused them grievous injuries.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 17/05/2011 at 1730 hrs accused Sumith, Sunil and Dyanesh criminally restrained one Sahan (16) R/o Panjimogaru Mangalore and abused him in filthy language near Rayikatte Panchayath office and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act and Cattle Preservation Act has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 21/05/2011 at 0500 hrs PSI Moodabidre PS along with staff stopped one Indigo car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4631 and found carrying cattle in cruel manner in the car. In the meantime driver of car and another person who was in the said car escaped leaving their vehicle. The Police seized the car and 7 cows, which were being transported illegally in the said car.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. One Deviprasad dead body was found on 20/05/2011 at 2300 hrs at Room No. 106 Hotel Blue Star at Falnir Mangalore. Death seems to be due to heavy drinking.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. One unknown male dead body aged about 30-35 yrs was found on 21/05/2011 at 1530 hrs at Vijayanagar Badaga Ekkaru village Mangalore Taluk. Cause of death still to be ascertained.
