·        A case of MV theft has been registered in Vittal Police Station. In between 0030 hrs and 0515 hrs of 27/05/2011 some unknown persons committed theft of a Qualis car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-5571 belonging to one Siddik B.K. R/o Kanyana village Bantwal Taluk which was parked at his house. The car is worth Rs. 3, 75,000/.

·        A case under Cruelty by husband and relatives, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Dowry Prohibition Act along with Criminal Intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Women Police Station on the complaint of one Namitha Shenoy (30) W/o Aravind Shenoy R/o Chilimbi Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged accused Aravind Shenoy (Husband) and his relatives Ramdas Shenoy and Poornima Shenoy abused one Namitha Shenoy in filthy language in her house and gave physical and mental harassment to bring more dowries and also gave life threat to her.

·        A case under Cruelty by husband and relatives, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Dowry Prohibition Act along with Criminal Intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station on the complaint of one Shubha (28) W/o C.N Manjunath R/o Padil Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged accused C.N Manjunath (Husband) and his relatives Narayan Achar and Meenakshi abused one Shubha in filthy language in her house and gave physical and mental harassment to bring more dowries and also gave life threat to her.

·        A case under Cruelty by husband and relatives, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal Intimidation has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station on the complaint of one Asha (33) W/o Sadananda Shetty R/o Dharegudde village Moodabidre Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged accused Sadananda Shetty (Husband) and his relatives Krishna Prasad and Sudhakar Shetty abused one Asha in filthy language in her house and gave physical and mental harassment to bring more dowries and also gave life threat to her.

·        A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 21/05/2011 hrs at Kallabettu village Mangalore Taluk accused Narasimha Nayak, Geethanjali and Nirmala assaulted ine Sharadha Devi K (53) R/o Kallabettu village Mangalore Taluk and also gave life threat to him owing to trivila issue.

·        A case under outraging the modesty of woman along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 26/03/2011 at 1300 hrs at Korathodi Sullia Taluk accused one Naveena R/o Markanja village Sullia Taluk outraged the modesty of one Nirmala (18) R/o Bollaje village Sullia Taluk e by pulling her hand and also gave life threat to her.

Fatal: 01

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 26/05/2011 at 2030 hrs near RTO office Mangalore one M.V Prabhu driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-01-D-3471 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an Auto Tempo bearing Reg. No. CNO-8713. As a result Nasir (50) R/o Bunder Mangalore driver of said Tempo and Sarfraz (14) who was travelling in the said tempo were sustained serious injuries. Further Nasir driver of said Tempo succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on same day at 2255 hrs.

Non-Fatal: 03

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 27/05/2011 at 1210 hrs near Gurupura Muloor village Mangalore one Suresh driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-3715 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-34-C-1359 driven by one J Binono (54) R/o Vamanjoor Mangalore. Further Suresh lost control over his vehicle du which he collided against another car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6200. As a result Nazeer driver of said car and Baby a passenger of said car sustained simple injuries.
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 26/05/2011 at 1215 hrs at Perla Ujire village Belthangady Taluk one Karthik rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-L-231 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided one Babu Gowda (73) R/o Koyyur village Belthangady Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 27/05/2011 at 1100 hrs at Alankaru Town Puttur Taluk one Uday Bhat driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-4853 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-3886. As a result one Dayanand rider and Yogish pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grevious injuries.

·        A case under Wrongful confinement, Hurt, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 27/05/2011 hrs accused Elias Jerome Fernandes (48) wrongfully confined one Dennis George Fernandes (48) R/o Barebail Mangalore in a room in building at Barebail Mangalore. Further he assaulted him by wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to civil dispute.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 27/05/2011 in between 1030 hrs and 1530 hrs one Narayan Salian (49) R/o Anile House Badagannur village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to health problem.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 27/05/2011 at 0800 hrs found one unknown deadbody aged about 70-75 yrs at Snanaghatta Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk. He was committed suicide by hanging owing to personal problem.

Missing Persons: 01

·        A case of Woman and Children missing has been registered in Mangalore Police Station. On 25/05/2011 at 1100 hrs Saudha Bhanu w/o Hameed R/o Vamanjoor Mangalore left her house along with her children Mohammed Hafeez and Mohammed Habeed and did not return her house thereafter. They have been found missing since then.
