Fatal: 02

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 09/05/2011 at 1230 hrs near Yedapadav Garody at Thenka Yedapadav village Mangalore one Jayarama Shetty driver of  a Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-25-B-2564 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an Ambulance bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-4608. As a result Ambulance driver Ayub, Mahesh Poojary (31) R/o Kallaputthige village Mangalore Taluk, Sandesha, Anni Poojary (65) and Ayeesha who were traveling in the said Ambulance sustained serious injuries. Further Anni Poojary (65) succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 09/05/2011 at 1900 hrs near Konchady Mahakali Daivasthana at Derebail village Mangalore Taluk one unknown driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4270 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which Bibin (18) who was traveling in the said bus got thrown out from bus and sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

Non-Fatal: 02

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 08/05/2011 at 1630 hrs in front NITK Guest House at Surathkal Mangalore one driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-5505 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KL-14-G-4408. As a result Sadananda Kamath (45) R/o Kerala State, Sudhakara and others who were traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 08/05/2011 at 0900 hrs near D.G Katte at Kairangala village Mangalore Taluk one Ismail rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EB-5146 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied the break suddenly due which motorcycle capsized. As a result Rasheeda (12) R/o Naringana village Bantwal Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On the night of 03/05/2011 one Purandara (35) R/o Mulali Thenkulipady village Mangalore Taluk attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to financial problem. Further he was admitted to Fr Muller hospital at Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatment on 09/05/2011 at 1140 hrs.

Missing Persons: 02

·        A case of Boy Missing has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. One Helen Monthero (14) S/o Lancy Monthero R/o Industrial Estate Yeyyady Mangalore left his house on 09/05/2010 at 0400 hrs and did not return to his house thereafter. He was found missing since then.

·        A case of Woman missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. One Savitha (34) W/o Jagadhisha Devid R/o near Water Tank Kana Surathkal Mangalore left her house on 01/05/2011 at 0400 hrs and did not return to her house thereafter.  She was found missing since then.
