·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 1430 hrs of 28/04/2011 and 0815 hrs of 29/04/2011some unknown culprits gained entry into the St Lourdes School at Bejai Mangalore by breaking window grills and committed theft of a LCD projector. The total worth of stolen property is Rs. 15,000/.

Fatal: 01

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 29/04/2011 at 0500 hrs in front of Railway Karmachari Training center Hampankatta Mangalore one unknown driver of unknown vehicle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one unknown pedestrian and sustained him serious injuries and died on the spot

Non-Fatal: 02

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 28/04/2011 at 0900 hrs at near Mangaladevi Temple Mangalore one driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-21-7969 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-5163. As a result one Arun Gatti pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.  

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 29/04/2011 at 1635 hrs at near Amblamogaru Panchayth office Mangalore Taluk one Ibrahim U.K  driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MA-2109 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-6698. As a result motorcycle rider one Prakash Bhat (20) R/o Amblamogaru village Mangalore Taluk and pillion rider Pradeep sustained simple injuries.

·        A case under Copyright Act along with Cheating has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 26/01/2008 at 1115 hrs on credible information Manjunatha U Investigation officer, Hindustan Uniliver Pvt ltd, Malleshwaram Bangalore, PSI North PS along with staff conducted a raid on Mathaji Marketing at Bibi Alabi road Mangalore and seized duplicate products of  Hindustan Uniliver Pvt ltd company which has been selling there by arresting one Swaroop Ram Mali (33).

·        A case under NDPS Act has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 27/04/2010 at 1400 hrs on credible information PSI Mangalore North PS and with staff arrested one Dawood Parvez (24) R/o Someshwara Mangalore and seized 140 Grams, 02 Mobile phones and cash Rs. 3110 from him. Police apprehended him while he is selling Ganja near Central Market at Mangalore.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 29/04/2011 one Rakshitha M.N (18) committed suicide by hanging in her room no 407 at St Aloysius Ladies Hostel Mangalore owing to personal problem.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 29/04/2011 at 1530 hrs one Narayana Poojary (34) accidentally fell down from the building while working in the gowdown at NMPT Mangalore and died on the spot.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. One Nagaraj Nayak P. R/o Bajilakeri Mangalore left his house on 27/04/2011 at 1100 hrs and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since.
