·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 1730 hrs of 13/03/2011 and 1745 hrs of 13/04/2011 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Rukhiya Bhanu (22) R/o Flat No-103, Vishwas Garden Vas Lane Mangalore  by breaking the door lock and committed theft of cash Rs. 10,500/ and gold ornaments all in worth Rs. 3,14,500/.

Fatal: 01

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 12/04/2011 at 1730 hrs near Ayyappa Gudi at Kuloor Mangalore one unknown vehicle driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-3883. As a result motorcycle rider Basavaraj and Sharanappa pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. The unknown vehicle driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 13/04/2011 at 0100 hrs at Babukatte Permannur village Mangalore Taluk one Dr Chenthan Hegde driver of Swift car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-3341 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle and dashed against a house. As a result house got damaged. No causalities reported. The damage caused is about Rs. 50,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 12/04/2011 at 1630 hrs near Kaikamba Church at Kandavara village Mangalore Taluk one Stalin D Souza driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-767 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Aboobakkar R/o Thenkulipady village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 12/04/2011 at 0800 hrs at Hosabettu junction Hosabettu village Mangalore Taluk one Shashikumar driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-1681 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-1931. As a result one Dhanraj rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

·        A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 13/04/2011 at 1100 hrs accused Dinesha and others assaulted Haneef and Ummer Farooq with wooden stick at Jappina Mogeru Mangalore and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 13/04/2011 at 1115 hrs accused Mohammed Haneef, Musthafa, Khadar, Rafeeq and others assaulted Arjun (28) and Suraj with wooden stick at Jappina Mogeru Mangalore and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 13/04/2011 at 0700 hrs one unidentified male dead body has been found in highly decomposed stage near Meenakaliya at Panambur Mangalore. The death seems to be due to drowning.
