·        A case under Hurt, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 15/04/2011 at 1000 hrs accused one Yogish assaulted his mother Rajeevi (60) R/o Mannagudda Mangalore by hand in her house and abused her in filthy language and also gave life threat to her owing trivial issue.

·        A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives has been registered in Mangalore Women Police Station on the complaint of one Israth Bhanu (27) Wo Ismail R/o Kandathpalli Bunder Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Ismail (husband) and his relative Abdul Majeed gave physical and mental harassment to one Israth Bhanu to bring more dowry.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 16/04/2011 at 2100 hrs accused one Naveen Poojary abused his wife Suchithra (35) R/o Mithra nagar Somshwara village Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat to her owing to family dispute.

·        A case under Intending to insult the modesty of woman (sec 509 IPC) has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 14/04/2011 at 1830 hrs accused 02 unknown persons abused one Deepika (15) R/o Kuttaru Munnur village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language and tried to insult her modesty at Thokkottu Bus stop Mangalore owing to trivial issue. There upon shre attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison on 16/04/2011 at 1715 hrs and admitted to KS Hegde hospital Deralakatte mangalore Taluk.

·        A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives along with Abetment of suicide has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station on the complaint of one Krishna Kavoor village Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Nithin (33) R/o Kulashekar Mangalore gave physical and mental harassment to his wife one Dhanya to bring more dowry due to which on 15/04/2011 at 2030 hrs she committed suicide by hanging in her house.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 17/04/2011 at 0930 hrs accused one Manikanta abused one Anjalin R/o Bikarnakatte Mangalore in filthy language near her house and assaulted her by hand owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 16/04/2011 at 1130 hrs near Attavara Katte Mangalore one rider of Scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-6290 drove his motorcycle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Krishna (48) R/o Valencia Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 17/04/2011 at 0050 hrs at in front of HN hostel Deralakatte Mangalore one Melwyn Thomas (23) rider of car bearing Reg. No KL-53-C-1369 driver auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-1183 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another Maruti Alto car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MM-2499. As a result Mohammed Irshad driver of said Alto car, Jebin Shurya and Nishal who were travelling in the said Alto car sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 16/04/2011 at 1630 hrs near HML petrol pump Kulur Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8931 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-2005. As a result motorcycle rider one Sumith Ameen (19) R/o Kuloor Mangalore grievous injuries.

On 16/04/2011 at 2030 hrs accused Baba @ Rajesh, Chandrahas, Prashanth and Shailesh criminally restrained one Devadas Kulal (35) R/o Kujumagudde Someshwara village Mangalore near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 17/04/2011 at 0800 hrs one Abdul Samad R/o Pavoor Mangalore accidentally slipped to Nethravathi river at Arkula while walking and died due to drowning.
