Ordinary Theft: 02

·        A case under Ordinary Theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. In between 2000 hrs of 10/04/2011 and 0800 hrs of 11/04/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of cash Rs 2, 75,986/- and two cheque leaves that were kept inside the office at Mangalore City Corporation building Lalbhag Mangalore.

·        A case under Attempt to commit theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 2030 hrs of 09/04/2010 and 0920 hrs of 11/04/2010 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Syndicate Bank ATM at Kadri Mangalore by breaking the door lock and attempted to committed theft.

·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mulki Police Station. In between 2330 hrs of 09/04/2011 and 1800 hrs of 10/04/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Tipper Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-9252 belonging to one Srinivas G Bangera (35) R/o Gurupura Colony Chithrapu village Mangalore Taluk that was parked near Petrol Bunk at Kolnadu village Mangalore Taluk. The Tipper lorry is worth Rs. 14,00,000/.

Crime against Women: 02

·        A case under House trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 10/04/2011 at 1700 hrs accused one Sharif @ Gandu Sharif criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Ayeesha (30) R/o near Madoor bus stand Kotekar Mangalore and abused her in filthy language assaulted her with stones and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under House trespass, outraging the modesty of women along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 10/04/2011 at 1800 hrs accused Levan criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Savitha Crastha (20) R/o Mallur Kinnikatte village Mangalore Taluk and outraged her modesty by pulling her dress and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station where in one Gangadhara Salian has been declared dead while under treatment on 11/04/2011 at 1915 hrs. The said Gangadhara Salian was seriously injured by an auto rickshaw in a road traffic accident on 31/03/2011 at 2100 hrs in front of Krishna Mutta at Kadri Kambla road Mangalore and admitted to the Wenlock Hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has been already registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 0400 hrs and 0700 hrs of 11/04/2011 one Chandrahasa Salian (65) R/o Kana Idya village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to health problem.
