·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 2200 hrs of 14/04/2011 and 0600 hrs of 15/04/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-46-E-9115 belonging to one Prathvi B.H (27) R/o Lovely Home Apartment Hosabettu village Mangalore Taluk that was parked in the premises of his house. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 41,000/.

·        A case under Kidnapping, Hurt, and Outraging modesty of woman along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 22/04/2011 at 2045 hrs accused one Ramesh Kidnapped one Shailaja (07) D/o Nagu @ Nagaveni R/o Shivanagara Mangalore while she was playing near her house and outraged her modesty by pulling her hand and assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat to her.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 22/04/2011 at 0920 hrs near Shwetha Laundry Kadri Temple Road Mangalore one driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-7762 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-51-R-9425. As a result one Praveen Kumar (30) R/o Kudupu village Mangalore Taluk rider of motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 21/04/2011 at 0730 hrs at Gutthigepadav Putthige village Mangalore Taluk Nonayya driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-1677 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due to which one Rohith R.S (17) a passenger in the said bus was thrown out from the bus and sustained simple injuries.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 21/04/2011 at 2300 hrs accused one Chota Sadeeq, Everest Farooq, Ayub and others criminally restrained one Mohammed Siddiq (19) R/o T.C road Ullal Mangalore and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Hurt has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 22/04/2011 at 1900 hrs accused Arun Kumar assaulted one Mohammed Iqbal by hand near City In Hotel at Thokkuttu Permannur village Mangalore Taluk owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 22/04/2011 at 0430 hrs one Sharanappa developed chest pain while walking at Kolachekambla Bappanadu village Mangalore Taluk.  Further he was admitted to Govt hospital at Mulki where he was declared dead while
under treatment on the same day.
