·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 12/04/2011 at 1610 hrs near Service bus stand at Mangalore one Sulaiman (42) R/o Udupi District passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-5747 while getting down from the bus, the unknown driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 11/04/2011 at 2130 hrs near Dwara at Polali Kaikamba village Mangalore Taluk one Sandeep rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-8608 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the vehicle capsized. As a result Anil Jagadhare (31) R/o Kolambe village Mangalore Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case under Rioting, Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 12/04/2011 at 1730 hrs accused Siraj, Jabbar, Hussain, InFashion Bhava, Singu Bhaa, Raheem and Ibrahim P.I forming into unlawful assembly near 2^nd block Katipalla Mangalore and criminally restrained one K.A Mohammed Shareef R/o Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Mischief causing damage, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 11/04/2011 at 1930 hrs at Merlapadavu Adyar village Mangalore Taluk accused Jokhim Pereira, Peter Pereira, Margaret Pereira and Kiran Periera damaged the land belonging to one Rita Pereira R/o Merlapadavu Adyar village Mangalore Taluk and abused her in filthy language and also gave life threat to her owing to civil dispute. The worth of damaged property is yet to be estimated.

·        A case under Causing Grievous hurt by endangering life (sec 338) has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 12/04/2011 at 0945 hrs Subramanya sustained grievous injuries when he was working near Railway goods office Baikampady Mangalore Volvo machine collapsed over him due to the negligence of Vishwanatha driver of said Volvo Machine.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 0400 hrs and 0700 hrs of 11/04/2011 one Chandrahasa Salian (65) R/o Kana Idya village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to health problem.
