·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic Police Station. On 05/04/2011 at 1415 hrs near Das Prakash Hotel at Bejai Mangalore one unknown driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-12-A-2450 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-214. As a result one Imthiyaz (46) R/o Bejai Mangalore rider of said scooter sustained simple injuries. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 05/04/2011 at 0430 hrs near Meri Hill junction at Mangalore one driver of Tata Sumo vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-6716 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which Tata Sumo vehicle capsized. As a result one Sheethal R/o Udupi District who was traveling in the said Tata Sumo vehicle sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 04/04/2011 at 1630 hrs near Check Post at Mukka Mangalore one Pavan Kumar driver of goods tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-7298 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-5738. As a result car got damaged. No causality reported.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 04/04/2011 at 1910 hrs at Chithrapura Kulai village Mangalore Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-02-E-490 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Laxman Kundar a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 05/04/2011 at 0830 hrs at Kuloor junction at Mangalore one Raghunatha Shetty driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-20-2291 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-3109. As a result one Ashraf rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 05/04/2011 at 1500 hrs on credible information ACP Mangalore Sub Division along with his staff conducted raid on Room No-504 at Golden Empire Building Ashoka Nagara Mangalore and arrested Sukesha (36), Sandhya (37), Jyothi (28) and Sony (25) who were soliciting for prostitution there and also seized the cash Rs 20,080 and 4 Mobile phones from them.

·        A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered in Woman Police Station. On 05/04/2011 at 1115 hrs WPI of Women PS on rounds arrested one Bindu (32) W/o Prabhakara R/o Surathkal Mangalore who was soliciting for prostitution at public place near old bus stand at Mangalore.
