·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 28/04/2011 at 1200 hrs at Adyar Mangalore one driver of Scorpio car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MB-9686 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle. As a result one Ravindra Shetty rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.   

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 27/04/2011 at 1215 hrs near bus stand at Pavanje village Mangalore Taluk one Ashoka driver of Tanker lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-22-A-9571 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Mohan a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

·        A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, along with Hurt has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 28/04/2011 at 1500 hrs accused Sachin and other 5 to 6 persons forming into unlawful assembly near Gandhi Nagara School at Urwa Market Mangalore and abused one Imithiyaz (33) R/o Krishnapura Surathkal Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with stones owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case under Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 28/04/2011 at 0815 hrs one Surekha R/o Eshwari Apartment near Sridevi College Ballalbhag Mangalore attempted to commit suicide by pouring Kerosene on herself owing to health problem. She got serious burn injuries and was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where she succumbed to her injuries while under treatment on same day at 0900 hrs.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 28/04/2011 at 1600 hrs one Ibram (12) R/o Permannur village Mangalore Taluk accidentally slipped into the river at Patla Kallapu Permannur village Mangalore Taluk while taking bath and died due drowning.
