Fatal: 01

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 03/04/2011 at 1330 hrs in front of Land Mark cross at Kadri Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. MH-11-AL-975 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-14-F-3393 driven by one Sandeep P.R R/o Udupi District. As a result one Amrith Mendona pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 02/04/2011 at 2300 hrs at Arasu Padav Badaga Yekkur village Mangalore Taluk one Yatheesha driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-6731 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Yamunoorappa R/o Kerala State a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

·        A case under Rioting, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 02/04/2011 at 2345 hrs accused Navaz, Hakeem, Rizwan, Nowfal and Fayaz forming into unlawful assembly near Adyar Mosque at Adyar village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted Yadava, Keerthan Raj and Satheesh with stones and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Rioting, House trespass, Mischief causing damage along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 02/04/2011 at 2330 hrs accused unknown 23 persons forming into unlawful assembly near Adyar Mosque at Adyar village Mangalore Taluk and criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Navak A.K R/o Adyar village Mangalore Taluk and damaged the house by breaking the window glass and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 03/04/2011 at 1530 hrs accused Razaq and Habeeb abused one Abdhul Rahiman in filthy language near Kankanady Market at Kankanady Mangalore and assaulted him by hand  and also gave life threat him stick owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 02/04/2011 at 0900 hrs accused one Vittal Shetty abused one Mohan Shetty (47) at Ombatthukere Ullal Mangalore and assaulted him with stones owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 02/04/2011 at 2330 hrs accused Shakeer, Imran, Hakeem and Thousif criminally restrained one Shekara Bhandary R/o Adyaru Padav Mangalore near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with stones and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Affray has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 03/04/2011 at 0830 hrs accused Ashoka, Fayaz, Balakrishna and Laxmana picked up quarrel and started fighting over a trivial issue in public place at Pumpwell Kankanady Mangalore. The Police arrested the accused and took up a case under affray.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 1300 hrs and 1500 hrs of 03/04/2011 one Bhavya (25) R/o Thataje Durgapura Kinya village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in her house owing to person problem.
