·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 2130 hrs of 22/04/2011 and 0730 hrs of 23/04/2011 some unknown culprits gained entry into the More Super shop at Pandeshwar by breakaing the window grills and  committed theft of cash Rs. 59,526/.

Ordinary Theft: 01

·        A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 2030 hrs of 22/04/2011 and 0900 hrs of 23/04/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of Battery and 7 Disc Tyres that was fixed to Lorry belonging to K.A Changappa R/o Galibeedu Madikeri that was parked at near Karnataka Bank Pumpwel Mangalore. The stolen property is worth Rs. 4,500/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 22/04/2011 at 1430 hrs near Mangaladevi temple Mangalore one Fahad rider of Scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-4081 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-7813. As a result Chethan rider of said motorcycle and Vishal R/o Bejai Mangalore piliion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 23/04/2011 at 1100 hrs at Talapady chek post Mangalore one Abdul Rahiman rider of motorcycle bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-4907 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Dileep (22) R/o Kannur District Kerala State a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

·        A case under Rioting, Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 22/04/2011 at 2045 hrs accused Aznan, Farooque M.P, Shavul @ Shavu, Raheem, Irfan and Others forming into an unlawful assembly at Kelaginamarga pavoor village Mangalore Taluk and criminally restrained one Mohammed Iqbal (310 R/o Pajeeru village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with iron rod and hand and also gave life threat to him owing to previous enmity.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 22/04/2011 at 1930 hrs accused Samad, Rasheed and Razaq all residents of Pavoor Mangalore criminally restrained one Hamza (30) R/o Pavoor village Mangalore Taluk at Pavoor Pete Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand owing to previous enmity.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 22/04/2011 at 2115 hrs accused Plywood Iqbal, Gujuri Iqbal and another person criminally restrained one Ijhaz (24) Pavoor village Mangalore Taluk near Malar Mosque at pavoor Village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with iron rod owing to previous enmity.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 22/04/2011 at 2000 hrs accused Hamza, Farooque and Dawood all residents of Pavoor village Mangalore criminally restrained one Abdul Razak (22) R/o all residents of Pavoor village Mangalore Taluk at Pavoor Village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him soda bottle and also gave life threat to him owing to previous enmity.

On 23/04/2011 at 1215 hrs WPI of Women PS on rounds arrested one Jayashri @ Priya (21) R/o Surathkal Mangalore and Surekha R/o Kana Surathkal Mangalore who was soliciting for prostitution at public place near Service bus stand Mangalore.

·        A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered in Woman Police Station. On 23/04/2011 at 1230 hrs WPI of Women PS on rounds arrested one Geetha @ Sangeetha (21) R/o Uppala Kasargod Kerala State and Bindu (32) R/o Surathkal Mangalore who was soliciting for prostitution at public place near Lady Goshen hospital Mangalore.

·        A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered in Woman Police Station. On 23/04/2011 at 1300 hrs WPI of Women PS on rounds arrested one Manjula (44) R/o  Kana Surathkal Mangalore and Geetha (40) R/o Kavoor Mangalore who was soliciting for prostitution at public place near Lady Goshen hospital Mangalore.
