·     A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 0730 hrs and 1800 hrs of 20/08/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Bajaj pulsar motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EB-8127 belonging to one Steevan Monthero (42) R/o Babugudda Attavara Mangalore that was parked in the premises of Nehru maidan Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 48,000/.

Fatal: 01

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 24/08/2011 at 2300 hrs near Iddya village Surathkal Mangalore Taluk one driver of Mahindra Max vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-43-1449 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sanjeeva Madivala a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 22/08/2011 at 1530 hrs near A.B Shetty circle Mangalore Taluk one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MN-7178 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-5317. As a result Fathimaka and Shameena who were traveling in the said car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MN-7178 sustained simple injuries.

·     A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 25/08/2011 at 0900 hrs near Janatha colony Surathkal Mangalore Taluk one Praveen rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-8930 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-18-K-6556. As a result Lohith (28) R/o Vanagoor District rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 24/08/2011 at 1900 hrs near K.S hedge hospital Deralakatte Mangalore Taluk one unknown rider of unknown motorcycle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Shivan a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·     A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Bhunilala Bhayya (40) R/o Jharkhand State now residing near KMC Attavara Mangalore left her house on 20/08/2011 and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
