·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. In between 1600 hrs of 17/08/2011 and 0600 hrs of 18/08/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-6706 belonging to one B. M. Nasir (38) R/o Kolachi Kambla Mulki that was parked at Kateel Petrol Pump Kondemoola village Mangalore Taluk. The total value of stolen vehicle is Rs. 12, 00,000/.

·        A case under Rioting, Criminal trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, outraging the modesty of women, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 19/08/2011 at 1730 hrs accused Mahaaroof @ Maru, Imtiyaz @ Imti, Naushad @ Naushu, Mosif and Araf forming into unlawful assembly and criminally trespassed into the Room No. 317, Athena hospital Mangalore where Ashwini was admitted for treatment and abused Arjun, Ashwini, Sujatha and Ankush all are residents of Bajal Mangalore in filthy language referring to their caste and outraged modesty by pulling Sujatha’s dress and also gave life threat to them owing to previous enmity between them.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 19/08/2011 at 0730 hrs at Adyar Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-9364 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a pick-up vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-2012. As a result pick-up driver Moammed Iqbal and Abdul Khadar passenger of pickup vehicle sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 17/08/2011 at 1100 hrs on NH 66 at Tadambail Surathkal Mangalore one Ravichandra driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-205 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Sadashiva (52) R/o Marigudi Surathkal a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

·        A case of Boy missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 09/08/2011 at 0630 hrs one Shareef (18) R/o Rajasthan state residing with Akbar (20) R/o Rajasthan at Vidyanagar Kulai village Mangalore Taluk and left his house and did not return his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 02/08/2011 at 2200 hrs one D. Krishnamurthi (59) R/o Amba Bhavani Nilaya Thirthahalli Taluk Shimoga village left his office at NMPT Panambur Mangalore and did not return to office or house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
