·        A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On interviewing night of 21-22/08/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of Batteries (04 Nos) from the lorry belonging to one Mohammed Basheer R/o 6^th block Krishnapura Surathkal Mangalore which was parked near his house.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 24/08/2011 at 2000 hrs near Mulki Bus stand at Mulki Mangalore Taluk one Ravi driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-2957 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Narayana Sanil a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 24/08/2011 at 0830 hrs near Gurupura Ane at Gurupura Mangalore Taluk one driver of VagonR car bearing Reg. No. KA-47-M-742 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-8687 and against a School Van bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-2678. As a result one Kishan (08) passenger of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-8687 sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 24/08/2011 at 2300 hrs near Bhagavathi Temple at Ullal village Mangalore Taluk accused Ibrahim abused one laxman rathod (27) R/o Ullal village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language and also assaulted him by iron rod owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 24/08/2011 at 2015 hrs accused Akweel, Prashwak and Nisar criminally restrained a bus bearing Reg. No. KL-14-G-6577 near Veera Maruthi Vyayama Shale at Thokkottu Mangalore and abused driver of bus one Sandeep R/o Kasaragod Kerala state in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

Missing Persons: 02

·        A case of Girl missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Jyothi (16) R/o Kundagola Taluk Dharavada Dist. now residing near Valencia church Mangalore left her house on 23/08/2011 at 1200 hrs and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been found missing since then.

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. One Santhosh @ Shridhar (26) R/o Menadu House Bantwal Taluk working at AJ Hospital Canteen at Kuntikana Mangalore left his canteen on 21/08/2011 at 1700 hrs and did not return to canteen or his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
