·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 23/08/2011 at 1530 hrs at Padavinangady padavu village Mangalore Taluk one Dhananjaya driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-7257 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AD-3607. As a result motorcycle rider Vasanth Kumar and pillion rider Shilpa sustained grievous injuries.

On 22/08/2011 at 1930 hrs accused Seetharama Shetty, Kishore, Ashok and other 02 persons forming into an unlawful assembly near Durgadaya Travels at Thalippadi village Mangalore Taluk one Chandrashekhar and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. One Ivan D’souza (31) R/o Adyapadi village Mangalore Taluk left his house on 17/08/2011 at 1200 hrs and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.

·        A case of Boy missing has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. One Ahdesh Prasad Lehara (26) R/o Nepala residing at Alvas College Hostel Moodabidre left his Hostel on 21/08/2011 and did not return to his hostel thereafter. He has been found missing since then.

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Ullal Police Station. One Narayana Belchada (60) R/o Someshwar village Mangalore Taluk left his house on 22/08/2011 at 1400 hrs and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
