·        A case under Cruelty by husband along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station on the complaint of one Pavithra Acharya w/o Umesh Acharya R/o Padavu village Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Umesh Acharya (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to one Pavithra Acharya and also gave life threat to her.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 31/07/2011 at 1715 hrs at Thodar Moodabidre one Nagaraj driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-1909 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-W-7133. As a result motorcycle rider one Shareef sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 31/07/2011 at 1730 hrs on NH 66 near Hotel Suraj International at Surathkal Mangalore one Abhinav Arun driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. MH-09-BA-5877 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-6277. As a result motorcycle rider one Sharanayya R/o Gadag Dist. and Vijayalaxmi pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

·        A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 01/08/2011 at 1315 hrs accused Prithesh, Utham Alwa, Rakshith and other 5 persons forming into unlawful assembly at M.G. Road Mangalore and abused one Shivanand (22) R/o Vitla Bantwal Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him and Yashodhar by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Criminal restraint along with Hurt has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 01/08/2011 at 1615 hrs accused Anwar and Imthiyaz both residents of Alekala Ullal criminally restrained one Dinesh and his friends near Syed Madani School at Alekala Ullal and assaulted them by hand owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 31/07/2011 at 1015 hrs one Subramanya Naika (22) R/o Manila village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison in his rented house near P.V.S. Kalakunj at Mangalore owing to personal problem. Further he admitted to A.J. hospital Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on 01/08/2011 at 0245 hrs.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. In between 1930 hrs and 2015 hrs of 01/08/2011 one Sankappa (50) committed suicide by consuming poison at Observator quarters Panambur owing to personal problem.
