·        A case of MV theft has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On interviewing night of 12-13/08/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Tata Sumo car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4120 belonging to one Gangadhar Poojary (45) R/o Bondanthila village Mangalore Taluk which was parked near his house. The car is worth Rs. 1, 75,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 14/08/2011 at 1730 hrs at Kethikal Vamanjur Mangalore one driver of Tata Sumo car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-9132 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EB-599. As a result motorcycle rider Bhaskar Nalike sustained grievous and pillion rider Amrith raj sustained simple injuries.

·        A case under Rioting, Hurt, Criminal trespass, Criminal restraint along with Robbery has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 14/08/2011 at 0200 hrs accused Kunta Ganesh Kumpala, Bharath Thokkottu, Sharan Pumpwell, Udaya, Udaya, Munna, Dinesh, Pushparaj Shetty and other 23 persons criminally trespassed into Maharani Farm House Someshwar village Mangalore Taluk when Robin celebrating his Birthday party and forming into unlawful assembly there and assaulted Robins friends by rod, wooden stick and damaged laptop, camera and other things and also robbed gold chain from their neck and cash from them.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 14/08/2011 at 2200 hrs accused one Ramesh abused one Venugopal Shet (24) R/o Bikarnakatte Mangalore at Alake Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by bottle owing to trivial issue.
