·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 1930 hrs of 20/08/2011 and 0630 hrs of 21/08/2011 some unknown culprits gained entry into Nirmala Jewellers at Harusha complex MRPL Road Surathkal Mangalore belonging to one M. Srinivas Acharya by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold and silver ornaments all in worth Rs. 17, 70,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 20/08/2011 at 1930 hrs in front of IDBI bank at Kankanady Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MB-4664 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Ragunatha Murmu (45) R/o Orissa state a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 20/08/2011 at 1700 hrs at Moodumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk one Sathish driver of Tata Sumo car bearing Reg. No. KA-09-A-6332 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motocycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-8106. As a result motorcycle rider Lorence Lobo sustained simple injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 14/08/2011 at 2100 hrs one Monthin Rodrigues (62) R/o Moodukarnadu village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison at her house owing to personal problem. Further she was admitted to Fr. Mullers hospital Mangalore where she declared dead while under treatment on 21/08/2011 at 0440 hrs.
