On 02/08/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of ATM card, DL, Debit cards and cash Rs. 2,500 along with valet belonging to one Khethan Mudda (20) which was kept on the table at Room No. B-605 NITK hostel Surathkal.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 03/08/2011 at 1745 hrs one Udaya Achari (35) R/o B.C. Road Bantwal Taluk sustained serious electric shock while repairing electric light at Thokur Mangalore Taluk and died o the spot.

Missing Persons: 01

·        A case of Woman and Child missing has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 16/07/2011 at 0930 hrs one Panchavarna (28) R/o Basavanagar Marakada Kavoor left her house along with her child Manoj (04) and did not return to their house thereafter. They have been found missing since then.
