·   A case under Cruelty by husband along with Abetment of suicide has been registered in Surathkal Police Station on the complaint of one Dharnappa Poojary (60) R/o Bajathur village Puttur Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Rajendra R/o Kulai village Mangalore Taluk gave physical and mental harassment to his wife one Yashodhari W/o Rajendra R/o Kulai village Mangalore Taluk due to which on 12/08/2011 at 0530 hrs she was committed suicide by jumping in to a well near her house.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 11/08/2011 at 1930 hrs at Vamanjoor chekpost Mangalore one Roshan Menezes rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EB-8186 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Cyril Vaz R/o Vamanjoor Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 12/08/2011 at 0800 hrs at Sundaribagh Ullal village Mangalore Taluk one Zunoon driver of an Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-4540 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the vehicle capsized. As a result Nihal (07) R/o Mastikatte Ullal village Mangalore Taluk and his brother Niyaz and some other childrens who were traveling in said Auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On the night of 11/08/2011 one Balaraja R/o Bala village Surathkal Mangalore Taluk accidentally fell down while walking near his due to heavy drunkenness and died on the spot.
