·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 2330 hrs of 07/08/2011 and 0900 hrs of 08/08/2011 some unknown culprits gained entry into Sagar Bar & Restaurant at Kuthar Padav Munnur village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the window and committed theft cash Rs. 15,000/ and whisky bottles all in worth Rs. 24,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 07/08/2011 at 1630 hrs near Thannirbavi Guest house at Panambur Mangalore one Anil Kotian rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-ED-2860 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Prajwal R/o Thotabengre Mangalore and caused him simple injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 07/08/2011 at 2100 hrs one John Lobo (59) R/o Padavu village Shakthinagar Mangalore was found dead in his house. The death seems to be due to some illness.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 08/08/2011 at 1730 hrs one Shranappa (35) R/o Kushtagi Taluk Koppala Dist. committed suicide by hanging at Yedurupadavu Moodushedde village Mangalore Taluk owing to health problem.

Missing Persons: 01

·        A case of Boy missing has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 08/08/2011 at 1930 hrs one Sunil Keeru Pawar went out from student’s hostel at Alvas College Moodabidre and did not return his hostel thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
