·        A case of MV theft has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 2300 hrs of 11/08/2011 and 0700 hrs of 12/08/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3840 belonging to one Praveen D’Souza (35) R/o Permannur village Mangalore Taluk which was parked near his house. The lorry is worth Rs. 5, 75,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 17/08/2011 at 0615 hrs near Bhagavathi Kshethra at Masthikatte Ullal Mangalore one Partha Sarathi driver of tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-20-7460 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Lokesh Bhandari (48) R/o Manjeshwar Kasaragod a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 15/08/2011 at 1230 hrs one Ganesh Shetty (45) R/o Kolavoor village Mangalore Taluk accidentally slipped and washed away in Palguni sea while he was bathing at Kolavoor village Mangalore Taluk and his dead body found at Moolur village Mangalore Taluk on 17/08/2011 at 0730 hrs. The death seems to be due to drowning.
