·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 22/08/2011 at 2245 hrs on NH 13 near Kulshekhar Milk Diary at Padavu village Mangalore Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-832 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Jayanth a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 22/08/2011 at 1240 hrs accused Anurag, Shivakumar and Monish criminally restrained one Shashank (18) R/o Beloor Taluk Hassan Dist. in front of Hotel Shubhangan at Vidyagiri Marpadi village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by stone owing to previous enmity.
