·        A case of MV theft has been registered in Urwa Police Station. In between 0900 hrs and 1900 hrs of 02/08/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-ED-276 belonging to one Yekanth (21) R/o Bejai Mangalore that was parked at his house premises. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 46,000/.

·     A case of MV theft has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 1000 hrs of 06/08/2011 and 2030 hrs of 08/08/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a TVS motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-Q-7092 belonging to one Ajith Kumar (28) R/oSurathakal Mangalore that was parked near service bus stand at Surathkal. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 16,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 09/08/2011 at 2320 hrs near JPT Junction at Mangalore one driver of bullet tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-7297 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-01-Z-6161. As a result car driver Dr. Deepak Kumar (26) R/o Bangalore and Dr. Nanjesh Kumar passenger of said car sustained grievous injuries.

·   A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 10/08/2011 at 1730 hrs at Pranthya village Mangalore Taluk one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-M-3344 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-L-2587. As a result motorcycle rider Lokesh Poojary R/o Kukkipadi village Bantwal Taluk and pillion rider Pramila sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 10/08/2011 at 0940 hrs accused one Ranjith criminally restrained Prajwal and Dr. R. K. Shetty at Raksha clinic Thokkottu Mangalore Taluk and abused them in filthy language and assaulted Prajwal by hand and also gave life threat to them owing trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 10/08/2011 at 0130 hrs one Santhosh (29) R/o Jharkhand was suffering from some illness while he was sleeping at his rented house at 2^nd block Katipalla Surathkal Mangalore. Further he was admitted to Padmavathi hospital Surathkal where he declared dead while under treatment. The death seems to be due to some illness.

Missing Persons: 01

·   A case of Woman missing has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 04/08/2011 at 1000 hrs one Vedavathi R/o Sandspit Bengre Mangalore went out from her house and did not return her house thereafter. She has been found missing since then.
