·   A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 04/08/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of copper cables belonging to M/s MRPL Mangalore that was kept in SRU Planet at MRPL Mangalore.. The stolen property is worth Rs. 13,85,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Bajpe Police Station. On 05/08/2011 at 1415 hrs at bridge at Maravoor village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-6616 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an electric pole. As a result one Ronak Tejwani a passenger of said bus was sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 05/08/2011 at 0745 hrs at Rayikatte Kuloor Mangalore one driver of Pickup vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-04-MJ-1749 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Precilla D’Souza (54) R/o Rayikatte Kuloor Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 05/08/2011 at 1645 hrs at Madani nagar Mangalore Taluk one Shiva Prasad driver of mini Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8065 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MA-9476 due which the Maruti car rammed to another Mahindra car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-N-4278 driven by one Dr. C Vaman Rao C/o Nitte University Mangalore. As a result the entire vehicle got damaged. No causalities reported.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 05/08/2011 at 1624 hrs near Church at Bajpe Mangalore Taluk accused one K Nagesh Sapaliga abused one Chandappa R/o Malavoor village Mangaloe Taluk in filthy language and also gave life threat to him over a phone owing to trivial issue.
