·        A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. In between 05/07/2011 and 12/07/2011 accused Poojitha (18) committed theft of gold ornaments from the Almera of the house belonging to one Kalpana (40) R/o Veera Residency Kodiyalguthu Mangalore. The stolen property is worth Rs. 1, 85,000/.

·        A case of fatal road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 01/08/2011 at 1800 hrs near Kulshekhar post office at Kulshekhar Mangalore one driver of Bolero jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-7671 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EB-8232. As a result motorcycle rider one Manjunatha sustained serious injuries. Further he was admitted to Unity hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 02/08/2011 at 0330 hrs.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 01/08/2011 at 1240 hrs near Nagabrahma Temple at Kallabettu village Mangalore Taluk one Jagadish Shetty driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-1116 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a bicycle. As a result bicycle rider one Gokuldas Pai R/o Moodabidre Mangalore sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case under Hurt, Mischief causing damage along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 31/07/2011 at 1100 hrs in front of Ashok Bar at Ullal accused Bharath R/o Mogaveerapatna Ullal damaged a car belonging to one Raveendra (52) R/o Kapikad Ullal by breaking the mirror and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him.
