·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 18/06/2011 and 20/06/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle bearing Reg. No. TN-74-H-9179 belonging to one Vinod (27) R/o Suvarna Lane Kankanady Mangalore that was parked in a parking place at Fr. Mullers Hospital Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 15,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 26/07/2011 at 0900 hrs at Vamanjoor Junction Mangalore Taluk one Kumudha (52) R/o Ulaibettu village Mangalore Taluk passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19- C-5252 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which she fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 28/07/2011 at 2215 hrs at Nagori Mangalore one Harish Kumar driver of Tata-Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-19- C-675 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EC-1298. As a result motorcycle rider one Wilson Fernandez (23) R/o Arkula village Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries.

·        A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 28/07/2011 at 1600 hrs accused Iqbal, Charan, Shetty, Sasanna, Ronald Pinto, Herald Pinto, Nisha Pinto, Severine D’ Mello, Theresa D’ Mello, Persy Alboquorque and 50 other persons forming into unlawful assembly at Padavinangady Padavu village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him wooden stick and iron rod owing to civil dispute.

·        A case under Criminal trespass, Hurt, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 27/07/2011 at 1830 hrs accused Damodar criminally trespassed into the rented house belonging to one Udaya Kumar R/o Leo D’Souza compound Badaga Yedapadavu village Mangalore and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by iron punch and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Criminal intimidation along with SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 25/07/2011 and 1600 hrs of 28/07/2011 accused one Gidiyon Sananda Soans criminally restrained one Nagesh (50) R/o Kavoor Mangalore and abused him in filthy language at G.S.I. Pandeshwar Mangalore referring to his caste and also gave life threat him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Urwa Police Station. In between 1400 hrs and 1600 hrs of 29/07/2011 one Venkatesh @ Varun (25) R/o Sulthan Batheri Urwa Mangalore committed suicide by hanging at his house owing to personal problem.

Missing Persons: 01

·        A case of Boy missing has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 22/07/2011 at 1800 hrs one Manjunath (18) R/o Thokkottu Mangalore left his friends house at Kemral village Mangalore Taluk and did not return his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
