• A case of MV theft has been registered in Mangalore Barke Police Station. In between 2000 hrs of 02/07/2011 and 0730 hrs of 03/07/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of an Activa Honda bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-4284 belonging to one Sudha R. Kamath R/o Ladyhill Mangalore that was parked in the parking place of her apartment. The Scooter is worth Rs. 20,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Roadaccident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 06/07/2011 at 1830 hrs on NH 66 at Hosabetu Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KL-8-W-3297 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Lakshmi (53) R/o Kulai Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her injuries.

• A case Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 06/07/2011 at 2330 hrs at PVS circle Mangalore accused one Kiran Auto rickshaw driver abused one Nagesh R/o Bejai Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

• A case under Affray has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 07/07/2011 at 0945 hrs accused Ahamme (22), Agnel D’Souza, Suhail Ahamed, Asif and Roshan picked up quarrel and started fighting over a trivial issue in public place at Falnir Mangalore. The Police arrested the accused and took up a case under affray.

• A case Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 07/07/2011 at 1200 hrs at Panambur beach Mangalore accused one Sathisha, Harisha, Ravi and Simon criminally restrained one Sandesh (28) R/o Badaga Yedapadavu Mangalore and him in filthy language and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

• A case under Causing death due to negligence (sec 304 A) has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 07/07/2011 at 0945 hrs at PFCC Unit MRPL Mangalore one Johnson Santhosh Rozario sustained serious injuries when the Boom of Crane was accidentally collapsed over him where he was working and due to the negligence of Bolaram Singh a crane operator. Further he admitted to A.J hospital Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on same day at 1020 hrs.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 06/07/2011 at 1830 hrs Somanatha (45) R/o Badaga Yedapadavu Mangalore and his son Praveena (14) accidentally slipped into pond near their house while bathing and died due to drowning.
