·        A case under Rape, Criminal intimidation along with Cheating has been registered in Ullal Police Station where in it is alleged that one Sawad R/o Kotekar Mangalore had sexual intimacy with Sahida (24) R/o Arabi Compound Kotekar Mangalore by promising to marry her. There upon he cheated her by refusing to marry her and he along with Aris and Aroon also gave life threat to her.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 18/07/2011 at 1500 hrs at Ullal Town Panchayath Office Ullal accused Vani V Alva abused one Bhavani (48) Vice-President of Ullal Town Panchayath, Ullal village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language referring to her caste owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. In between 1700 hrs and 2100 hrs of 18/07/2011 one Jagadish Acharya (50) R/o Mulki committed suicide by hanging at his house owing to personal problem.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Konaje Police Station. In between 0330 hrs and 0530 hrs of 18/07/2011 one Abbas I. K. (38) R/o Pavoor village Mangalore Taluk accidentally slipped into a well near his house while taking water from the well and died due to drowning.
