·        A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 09/07/2011 at 2300 hrs near Khadgeshwari Temple at Madya village Mangalore Taluk accused Vamana assaulted one Charan R/o Madya village Mangalore Taluk with knife and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 08/07/2011 at 2030 hrs accused Haneef, Ashraf, Naji Mukkacheri and Ashraf Millath Nagar criminally restrained one Jakir Hussain (42) R/o Alekala Ullal village Mangalore Taluk near Bhagavathi Hardware shop at Thokkottu Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Causing death due to negligence (sec 304 A) has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 10/07/2011 at 0915 hrs one Pavan Mohato fell down from the building and sustained serious injuries while working at Srinivas Engineering College at Surathkal Mangalore Taluk due to the negligence of Owner of Nithin Constructions. Further he was admitted to Srinivas hospital at Surathkal where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day at 1000 hrs.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. In between 2000 hrs of 09/07/2011 and 0800 hrs of 10/07/2011 one Balu Koraga @ Babu (48) R/o Bellayur village Mangalore committed suicide by hanging near Thokur T. A. Board Gudda at Thokur Mangalore Taluk owing to personal problem.
