·        A case of Robbery has been registered in Bajpe Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 07/07/2011 at 1600 hrs near Hoige Padav at Kolambe village Mangalore Taluk one Ramya Kamath (32) R/o Kolambe village Mangalore Taluk was at her shop. At that time two unknown person came in a motorcycle and snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away with their motorcycle. The value of the property is Rs. 60,000/.

·        A case under Cruelty by Husband and his relatives along with Dowry Prohibition Act along with criminal intimidation has been registered in Mulki Police Station on the complaint of one Reshma (26) R/o Bappanadu village Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Pravenn Kumar (husband) and his relatives Jayashree and Babu gave physical and mental harassment to Reshma to bring more dowry and also gave life threat to her.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabdire Police Station. On 07/07/2011 at 1830 hrs Marnadu village Mangalore Taluk one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-9584 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. TDJ-8759. As a result Bright (35) R/o Beluvayi village Mangalore Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. One Suresh (26) R/o Arkula village Mangalore Taluk left his house on 08/07/2011 at 0900 hrs and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing then.
