·        A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 04/07/2011 at 0830 hrs accused Kumar and Keshav committed theft of Iron pieces belonging to St. Aloysius PU College that was kept in the premises of St. Aloysius PU College Mangalore. Further the accused were caught redhand along with iron pieces and handed over to the Police. The stolen property is worth Rs. 10, 000/.

·        A case of MV theft has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. In between 1600 hrs of 30/06/2011 and 1200 hrs of 02/07/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-3025 belonging to one T.K. Vasudeva Nambiyar (69) R/o Karkala Taluk Udupi Dist. that was parked near Indian oil petrol pump at Kaikamba Mangalore Taluk. The Tipper lorry is worth Rs. 10, 00,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 04/07/2011 at 1930 hrs On NH 66 at Kodikal cross Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. GA-01-S-5592 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Renuka (58) R/o Kodikal Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 04/07/2011 at 1400 hrs on NH 66 in front of Bappanadu Temple Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EC-3447 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Ajeem Hafeez (22) R/o Maravoor village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 03/07/2011 at 2315 hrs on NH 66 at Hosabettu Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tanker lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-09-Z-3793 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-3102. As a result Sooryakanth (23) R/o Kinnigoli Mangalore Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act has been registered in Bajpe Station. In between 01/01/2011 and 31/03/2011 accused one Plosli Mary D’Souza Headmistress of Higher primary School at Thenka Yedapadav abused one Krishna Naika (49) R/o Thenka Yedapadav village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language at School and referring to his caste owing to trivial issue.
