·        A case under Robbery has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 10/07/2011 at 1630 hrs at Mescom Office Surathkal Mangalore one unknown culprit criminally restrained one Poornima and forcibly took away a cash of Rs. 1, 36,278/.

·        A case of MV theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 1800 hrs and 1830 hrs of 06/07/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Honda Activa motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-2305 belonging to one Anees Rehman (34) R/o Kallapu Permannur Mangalore that was parked in front of Hotel Navarathna at K.S. Rao Road Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 35,000/.

·        A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Women Police Station on the complaint of one Pavithra Shetty (23) w/o Dayananda Shetty R/o Shediguri Kodikal Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Dayananda Shetty (husband) and his relatives Dayananda Shetty, Sanjeeva Shetty, Sesamma, Umesha and Sharmila gave physical and mental harassment to Pavithra Shetty to bring more dowry and also gave life threat to her.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 10/07/2011 at 2200 hrs near Jappinamogaru at Jappina Mogaru village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Maruthi Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-3421 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Manoj Kumar (40) a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries and died on the spot.

·        A case of Girl missing has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 11/07/2011 at 1530 hrs one Ishwarya B Dundur (20) R/o Vithobha Temple Road Mangalore went out from her house and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been missing since then.
