·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 27/07/2011 at 1245 hrs two unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Rohini (36) R/o Amblamogaru village Mangalore Taluk and they asked for drinking water. While she went inside the house to bring water the culprits committed theft of gold chain which was kept in a cupboard. The worth of stolen property is Rs. 15,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 26/07/2011 at 2045 hrs on NH 17 at Kapikad Ullal village Mangalore Taluk one Sajuddin driver of Maruthi Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-22-M-8844 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Madhava Bangera a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
