·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. In between 1400 hrs of 15/07/2011 and 0900 hrs of 24/07/2011 some unknown culprits gained entry into Shri Nagabrahma Raktheshwari Temple at Karinje village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of copper articles. The total worth of stolen property is Rs. 15,000/.

·        A case under Intentional intent to provoke breach of the peace, Criminal intimidation along with intending to insult the modesty of woman (sec 509 IPC) has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 23/07/2011 at 1100 hrs accused one Laxman Kharvi R/o Thota bengre Mangalore abused one Dhanavathi Puthran (45) R/o Thota bengre Mangalore in filthy language and tried to insult her modesty and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Rioting, Hurt, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 23/07/2011 at 1700 hrs accused Hafeez @ Appi, Mansoor, Jakir, Musthafa, Arif, Riyaz, Mamtaz Ali and Aboobakkar forming into an unlawful assembly at Al-Badriya School Krishnapura Surathkal Mangalore and abused Afsab, Nazeer, Haneef and Abeed in filthy language and assaulted them by iron rod and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

On 23/07/2011 at 1700 hrs accused Ismail, Jaleel Badriya, Hasanabba, Ajeej, Rafeeq, Absal, Munna, Aseem Addur and Jappulla forming into an unlawful assembly at Al-Badriya School Krishnapura Surathkal Mangalore and abused Mohammad, Mansoor and Arif in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 17/07/2011 one Shashikala (50) R/o Padavu village Shkthinagar Mangalore accidentally got serious burn injuries while lighting kerosene stove in her house and she was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where she succumbed to her injuries while under treatment on 24/07/2011 at 1230 hrs.
