In between 1900 hrs of 12/07/2011 and 0800 hrs of 13/07/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Pump (1.5 HP) that was fixed to the well belonging to one Jecintha D’Souza R/o Kinya village Mangalore Taluk. The worth of stolen property is Rs. 3,000/.

·        A case under Ordinary Theft has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 2200 hrs of 12/07/2011 and 0600 hrs of 13/07/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Pump (0.5 HP) that was fixed to the well belonging to one Ismail (37) R/o Kinya village Mangalore Taluk. The worth of stolen property is Rs. 1,500/.

·        A case of MV theft has been registered in Panambur Police Station. In between 2000 hrs of 11/07/2011 and 0630 hrs of 12/07/2011some unknown culprits committed theft of a Tipper Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-25-C-3316 belonging to one Rajendra (45) R/o Kadra Karvar that was parked at Thokur village Mangalore Taluk. The worth of stolen property is yet to be estimated.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 13/07/2011 at 1000 hrs in front of Amritheshwari Petrol Pump at Ladyhill Mangalore one unknown rider of motorcycle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Seetharam Rai (47) R/o Hoige Bailu Ashok Nagar Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case under section 63, 68A of Copyright Act has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 13/07/2011 at 1200 hrs Hemanth Kumar Investigaton Officer along with staff on credible information conducted a raid on Mobile Heart at Johara Complex Kaikamba Mangalore and seized computers and other peripherals which were being used for downloading and transferring the Hindi movie songs to mobile phones without any permission from the company. Further Nawfal and Ibrahim have been arrested.

·        A case under section 63, 68A of Copyright Act has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 13/07/2011 at 1200 hrs Hemanth Kumar Investigaton Officer along with staff on credible information conducted a raid on Vijetha electronics and Mobile sales at Kaikamba Mangalore and seized computers and other peripherals which were being used for downloading and transferring the Hindi movie songs to mobile phones without any permission from the company. Further Keshav has been arrested.
