·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 29/03/2011 at 2050 hrs near Mahaveera circle at Pumpwell Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AA-4433 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided an Ambulance vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-42-G-126. As a result Ambulance vehicle got damaged. No causalities reported.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 28/03/2011 at 0500 hrs near Mukka Check post at Surathkal Mangalore one unknown vehicle driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an Activa Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-6423. As a result Activa Honda scooter rider Surendra Gujaran (38) R/o Haleyangady village Mangalore Taluk and Vasanthi pillion rider of said Activa Honda scooter sustained simple injuries. The unknown vehicle driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case under Rioting, Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 29/03/2011 at 1100 hrs accused Shareef, Yaseen, Junaid, Ashraf, Sadhik, Anwar and others forming into unlawful assembly on Bengre road at Panambur Mangalore and criminally restrained Musthafa (35) R/o Bengre Mangalore and others and abused them in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with stones and also gave life threat them owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Rioting, Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 29/03/2011 at 1105 hrs accused Musthafa, Khaleel, Naseer, Nowshad, Siraj, Bilal, Sadhik and other forming into unlawful assembly on Bengre road at Panambur Mangalore and criminally restrained Yaseen (24) R/o Bengre Mangalore and others and abused them in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with stones and also gave life threat them owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 28/03/2011 at 2330 hrs in front of Laxmi Das Jewelers at Balmatta road Mangalore accused Nelson and another one person assaulted one Karthik L Pereira R/o Kankanady Mangalore with iron rod and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 29/03/2011 at 2000 hrs accused one Balakrishna Ameen abused one Chandrashekar Ameen in filthy language in the Vaibhav Hardware shop at Azazuddin road Mangalore and assaulted him with iron rod owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Kidnapping has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 29/03/2011 at 0600 hrs accused Lohith and Sharath criminally restrained Ganesh Naik, his wife and his daughter Bhavya Shree near Railway Gate at Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted them by hand and kidnapped his daughter Bhavya Shree owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. In between 28/03/2011 and 0730 hrs of 29/03/2011 one Sathish Jogi (45) R/o Govardhana Nagara Kunjaru village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to financial issue.
